Cricket Culture and Structure:

Afghanistan is an associate member of International cricket council since 2013. Currently playing in the ICC World Twenty20 Championship in India they are making a global impact on other associate and affiliate members. Afghanistan Cricket Board was formed in 1995. Cricket has become a stable and loved sport in Afghanistan as their national team and provincial teams have been performing well in the Asian Cricket Region tournaments and now in T20 World level cricket. GCC feels that the regular T20 and 4-Day cricket played in Afghanistan has a great development effect in the cricket of the country.
